This year April 22, 2017 marks not only Earth Day, but the March for Science. The main March of Science march is going to be in DC, but there will be many satellite marches throughout the country and all around the world. Get out and protest Trump’s anti-science agenda and make your voice heard. You can find out where the closest satellite march is by checking out the Satellite Marches page on the March for Science site. If the Interactive Map is not working for you (I was getting an error when I zoomed in), make sure to scroll down on the page to see a listing of the marches throughout the country and the world.
Protesting During Inauguration Weekend
Tomorrow on January 21st, there will be hundreds of Marches throughout the country protesting against Donald Trump. After seeing protests turn violent in DC earlier today, it might be wise to expect police to be on a hair trigger when it comes to protesters. For people looking for good tips to be safe during the marches, I recommend checking out The Jezebel Guide to Safe (ish) Protesting During Inauguration Weekend. Be careful out there everyone, and remember, no violence.
